Message from the President, Véronique Rapetti

Dear Friends,

Bienvenue to the JCCFB website.

The JCCFB was created in 1982 by a small but very enthusiastic team of volunteers willing to share and encourage other people to discover the richness of French & British cultural diversity.

Over the years, the JCCFB has gone from strength to strength, and nowadays comprises over 600 members, supported by a dedicated council committee of about 10 members.

Our mission is to promote cultural awareness and meet new people, while enjoying social events. We want to encourage and facilitate your integration and personal growth in a Franco-British environment through the discovery of our respective traditions, business practices, and cultural and social activities.

Diversity is our main focus:

Diversity in the type of members. We have members from all sorts of walk of life: bankers, lawyers, students, independent entrepreneurs, teachers, accountants, business people, consultants, marketers: everybody is welcome!

Diversity in the choice of events: quiz nights, business seminars, theatre evenings, charity nights, chocolate or wine tastings and of course the JCCFB annual ball, are some examples of the JCCFB portfolio of events.

We want you to relax, enjoy and discover new things offered by the charming and exciting city of London. If you are new to London or only looking to increase your network of friends or professional relationships, we invite you to come to the JCCFB.

Throughout the year, we continue to develop links with other associations in London, to expand your horizons and keep you informed of other relevant initiatives.

The JCCFB’s success is also based on the continuing support from our sponsors and from the commitment of the council committee members. I take this opportunity to thank all of them.
