What we do
JCCFB, the Jeune Chambre de Commerce Franco-Britannique, is an organisation of young professionals typically under 45 years of age, holding events on a regular basis in order to promote cultural understanding between British and French cultures through socialising, training and enjoying ourselves.
Our aim is to develop true bilinguism, which can only attempt to exist through a deep understanding of the cultural, social and historical background of the other person.
We have now about 600 members, who share the same love of cultural differences between France and Great Britain. We all come from a variety of backgrounds and professions: we are the young and not so young, French, British, business people, accountants, bankers, lawyers, teachers, IT consultants, entrepreneurs, secretaries, you name it, we’ve got it!
We put on a varied programme of social, educational and business events. In the past these events have included a jive evening, a networking training, a wine tasting evening, a theatre play, and we also hold an Annual Ball – the highlight of the JCCFB’s calendar.
